Thermostatic Valve works as follows:

Top dial: Controls water flow from the fixed shower head
Middle dial: Water temerature control from 20 - 50 deg c
Bottom dial: Controls the water from the hand held shower head

The Langley thermostatic mixer shower will work with the following systems:

Combination boiler systems
Gravity fed system (Insufficent water pressure to operate body jets)
Megaflow system
Pumped hot water systems
Un-vented hot water systems
Standard pressurised hot water cylinder type systems

For this thermostatic shower to operate correctly, your water system will need to produce at least 1 bar of pressure.
